Nolan is obsessed with the iPod Touch we got Avery for Christmas. The only reason she’s OK with this is because she’s obsessed with playing apps on my Kindle Fire {which is seriously cutting into my Fifty Shades time}.
{Out to eat.}
One of the first apps we introduced Nolan to is Talking Carl. If you’re not familiar with Carl, he’s a bendy little animated creature that repeats everything you say to him in a funny, super high-pitched voice. He’s the only thing that can make small children sound cuter than they already do.
However, Nolan and Carl didn’t exactly start off on the right foot.
When Nolan introduced himself to Carl, things got a little heated.
Nolan: I Nolan.
Carl: I Nolan.
Nolan: No. You robot.
Carl: No. You robot.
Nolan: No. I Nolan.
Carl: No. I Nolan.
About this point, Nolan looked to me to help him get out of this mess. I went to go switch apps, but Nolan yelled at me “NO! I DO IT!” to which Carl responded {you can probably guess} “NO! I DO IT!”. Nolan, now fuming at this unwelcome stranger, retorted, “NO! I DO IT!” But Carl wasn’t backing down. “NO! I DO IT!”
Currently Nolan and Carl are on a little break. Nolan’s decided he’d much rather make cupcakes on the iPod and trace letters made of tiny fish.
