Recently, Avery made time in her busy schedule to sit down with me and discuss a few things.

Mommy: Ave, what is something that mommy always says to you?

Avery: Get your finger out of your nose.

M: What is something that makes mommy really happy?

A: When I give you hugs and kisses.

M: What makes me sad?

A: When I’m not home. Like when I went to grandma and grandpas.

M: What is mommy’s favorite thing to do?

A: Working. And playing Hi Ho Cherry O with me. You like that.

M: What am I really good at?

A: Coloring

M: What am I not so good at?

A: Watching movies.

M: Yeah, I don’t pay attention do I?

A: No. You pick up our stuff.

M: What does mommy do at her job?

A: Works at a tall work {translation: high rise}. And you make commercials!

M: Have you ever thought about what you want to do when you grow up?

A: I want to play on the computer and marry Nolan. And be a scarecrow. No. I’m just kidding. A PRINCESS!

M: What is mommy’s favorite thing to eat?

A: Chicken and Rice Krispies {I don’t remember the last time we had Rice Krispies in the house, BTW}

M: What makes you proud of yourself?

A: When I swim without my floaties.

M: How do you know your mommy loves you?

A: I can feel it in my heart. {How sweet is THIS???}

M: Where is your mom’s favorite place to go?

A: Home.
